A not so common theme requested by a client for her son who loved his red Double-Decker bus.
The cake was a 12cm vanilla sponge cake and the cupcakes vanilla with vanilla buttercream and fondant decorations. I must admit I enjoy immensely the time spent conjuring up the cake design.
The cake had the front of a Double-Decker bus on top, with little Double-Decker busses running all around the sides.
The cupcakes were decorated with traffic light, streets, bus-stop signs and No.4 plaques (the birthday boy turned 4).
